Update on the new coronary virus pneumonia epidemic as at 2400 hours on 11 December
At 024 hours on 11 December, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production Construction Corps reported 13 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported from abroad (5 in Shanghai, 2 in Jiangsu, 2 in Guangdong, 1 in Tianjin, 1 in Zhejiang, 1 in Fujian and 1 in Yunnan); no new deaths; and no new suspected cases.
On that day, 12 new cases were cured and 619 persons were released from close medical observation. The number of serious cases was the same as the previous day.
There are 250 confirmed cases (of which 4 are serious cases) and 3 suspected cases. The cumulative number of confirmed cases was 4002, the cumulative number of cases released from hospital was 3,752 and there were no deaths.
At 2400 hours on 11 December, the 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Corps of Productive Construction had reported 293 confirmed cases (of which 5 were serious cases), 81,774 cumulatively treated discharges, 4634 cumulative deaths, 86,701 confirmed cases and 3 suspected cases. A cumulative number of 88,6495 persons in close contact were tracked and 6904 persons in close contact are still under medical observation.
Thirty-one provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production Construction Corps reported 17 new cases of non-symptomatic infections (15 imported outside the country); two confirmed cases (both imported outside the country) on the same day; 19 medical observations were cancelled on the same day (all imported outside the country); 196 cases of non-symptomatic infections were still under medical observation (185 imported outside the country).
